Best falloff the bone ribs!!! Our waitress Allison was friendly and attentive. Pretty good prices and we left full. We'll go back again!

Excellent service and food! Moist and saucy ribs, perfect coleslaw, and the waitresses are always happy to serve us. The cashier Kaitlyn helped give us directions to the restaurant our first time and has greeted us with a smile ever since- the servers always make us feel like a part of the family. Must go if you are in Wildwood/Villages area.

Great service and fantastic food. I had rack of ribs, baked sweet potatoes and collard greens. Everything was excellent, meat was tender, potato was well cooked. Service was prompt and server was very polite and friendly, great atmosphere for dining, I highly recommend this establishment.

This place has crazy quick service. From the time you sit down to start eating is usually less than ten minutes. The BBQ is one of the better places to get BBQ and the have specials like a full slab and 2 sides for 13.50. If you like Sonny's you would love this place.

Great meaty ribs, very moist even without sauce. Cole slaw crunchy and just right amount of sweet. Staff very accomodating. A definite Best Spot for lunch.

Awesome food and service. Second visit. Food is delicious. The ribs fall from the bones. Perfectly cooked. We ordered the special with ribs and 1/4 chicken. All side dishes were also perfect. The server and the rest of their team are very kind. Nicely decorated with fishery themes and local pictures. Our new choice of place to eat in Wildwood.

Oakwood Express offers great food and service at reasonable prices in a very casual atmosphere. I had the BBQ chicken which was very good and my wife had the baby back ribs which I got to sample. The ribs were excellent with the meat sliding off the bones. For sidewinders (sides) I enjoyed the coleslaw and baked beans. Both were very good and the serving size was larger than a lot of restaurants. You will enjoy the food at Oakwood Express if you like BBQ. We will be going there again.

Good BBQ. Disclaimer- I am biased. I cut my teeth on Texas BBQ. I’m used to slabs of meat prepared with a dry rub and served up on a sheet of wax paper at picnic table you share with strangers. This is not that BBQ. What you will get is good service and a clean restaurant. And plates! The BBQ was very tender and thinly sliced. Not much bark, but just a hint of smoke. If you want to amp up the flavor they do have 3 very tasty sauces. I prefer the “spicy” version. Generous portions. Large selection of side dishes. All in all, a very good experience. Open till 8. Closed Sundays.

Probably the best smoked food in the area and probably in the state. The restaurant is outstandingly clean with the friendliest staff. Am so glad we stopped after having driven by it for months. The portions are huge. The daily specials are well thought out. Do not pass by this place without stopping in.

Still open for business during the quarantine with the same great food using friendly curb side service. We love the daily specials especially the smoked turkey. Fries were perfect last trip. Crisp and HOT. Always great service.

It was great! The fries were crispy, the pork was hot, but there was a tiny bone in it. I get it was a little mistake, it more than likely wont happen again

When you pull up, the flavors you smell get your anticipation up. I had the pulled pork sandwich and baked beans. The pork serving was more than enough. The beans were good, but could have been a little larger. Overall, the pork I tasted matched what I smelled outside and was pleasantly surprised with the pass through find. Ordered my two younger kids (9 & 6) the full rack of ribs with a double side of fries, which was more than enough for them to share. This would definitely be enough for an adult to leave without desiring more. The ribs were delicious, fall off the bone with a great caramelization. Definitely worth the order. Only gave 4 stars as everyone at the table had the same version of the same meal, so I can't speak to other menu items.

Love the Oakwood chain! Turkey is delicious and so are their ribs. Kids love the garlic bread, ribs and fries. My son had one of the biggest burgers I've seen in a while and demolished it before the rest of us had taken a bite.

I like this restaurant! They have sensational meals, their menu is decent, The cook in that spot is a specialist, I like a lot eating all their dishes. The dishes are consistently fresh, the service towards the clients is efficient. I visit often this restaurant and I not even once was unsatisfied. I highly recommend it.

It is so real, not your typical BBQ joint. Everything is good, very clean and comfortable. The prices are fair and the portions are genuous. Service was prompt.

Oakwood is our go to place when the hankering for really good BBQ hits. The only problem is that it is not a secret. The solution is that they seem to handle being busy very well with great service and an efficient kitchen. The other problem is that we tend to overeat and still take the leftovers home for a delicious lunch the next day. We will continue to enjoy these problems!

Had the baby back ribs. A full rack on special. The ribs were very good, fried okra and mac and cheese Rounded out the meal. Well worth stopping by.

The food was delicious and the service excellent. Low key restaurant with the most friendly staff. Super quick service. Pulled pork platter was huge and I got the small portion. The ribs are really fall off the bone unlike some who advertise fall off the bone. Sides are also delicious.They were packed at 4:30pm on a Monday so get there early.This was the Oxford location on Rt 103 from what I am told the other location is also always crowded.If you're hankering for BBQ this is it

Was in Wildwood for a day and decided to stop..have been to other Oakwood places so wanted to try this one. It is a small place..very nice clean and friendly place.. efficient, fast service. So I ordered a completely different dish..and it was amazing..I had the sliced pork instead of pulled with baked beans and slaw, it came with Texas toast..it's a never fail ,great place to eat amazing food..My husband did the sliced turkey.and it was equally delicious..Oakwood is a great place in a little town..great job Oakwood..you never let us down..

I've driven past this place many times and regret doing so. This was the best barbecue I've ever had from a restaurant. It's not the best barbecue I've ever had, but barbecue joints are generally a bit disappointing, not this place. I ordered a half rack of baby back ribs and their chopped pork, my father ordered the sliced pork. The portions were generous and the ribs were so tender that they didn't bother cutting the ribs individually, not every place has those tender delicious baby back ribs like that, especially smokehouses. Collard greens were excellent, some of the best collard greens I've ever tasted and the fries were seasoned just right. We were taken care of right away and received excellent service. Oh I'll be back... with a feedbag!
